Lighting Up 26 Bridge: Our Experience with String Lights, Up-Lights, and Gobo Images – Wednesday, December 16, 2015

String lights in two circular patterns (Carnival Tent Style Pattern) over the majority of the main floor at 26 Bridge. In addition, Amber Up-Lights around the perimeter of the room. Finally, four stock gobo images (textured wash) of snowflakes were on the wall for a holiday party.

When we setup lighting for this wedding at 26 Bridge, our goal of creating an ambiance that was both dreamy and elegant became evident. The venue itself is a grand, open space that calls for something romantic and nostalgic. We decided to go with String lights in a carnival tent-style pattern that took over the majority of 26 Bridge. Without a doubt, this would create a cozy and intimate feel for the guests. To complement that, we added warm Amber Up-Lights around the perimeter of the room and four stock Gobo images of snowflakes projected on the wall. The effect was stunning, and we were happy to see it all come together for the couple.

A Carnival Tent Pattern of String Lights at 26 Bridge

String lights are a fun and creative way to add some whimsy to any venue. Our team strung up 26 Bridge’s main floor with two circular patterns that gave off a carnival tent-style pattern. In addition, we chose warm white lights that helped create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The String lights stretched across the room, drawing the eyes of the guests upwards and elongating the space. The effect of the String lights was just stunning, and it was a hit with the guests. We have found that String lights are always a popular choice for weddings because they create a dream-like atmosphere that makes the night feel extra memorable. Another key element of the lighting design was the Amber Up-Lights. These helped to create a warm, intimate glow for the entire room.

Amber Up-Lights are excellent for setting the vibe of a space and can complement the decor of your wedding. They came in especially handy at 26 Bridge since the venue is large and can feel like a carnival tent-style pattern. The warm Amber Up-Lights gave the spacious room a cozy and inviting feel that made everyone feel comfortable. It is always a good idea to add some Up-Lights, regardless of the scale of your event. When it came to projecting images on the wall, our team decided to use Gobo images of snowflakes. These were a stunning addition to the lighting scheme. The snowflake images create a seasonal feel for this winter wedding.
