String Lights w/ Up-Lights & Stock Gobos – Capital One – Friday, December 18, 2015
Up-Lights around the perimeter walls, String Lights hanging against a wall, and snowflake Gobos projected against various surfaces for a Capital One Holiday Party.
We recently had the incredible opportunity to work with Capital One for their holiday party. Without a doubt, our team at Universal Light and Sound specializes in lighting that transforms spaces. From Up-Lights to String Lights, our goal is to create unforgettable atmospheres. In this blog, we will share insights about lighting techniques that can also elevate your wedding.
Capital One Holiday Party
Firstly, let’s delve into our use of Up-Lights around perimeter walls. Unquestionably, these lights set the mood instantly by adding depth and drama. In addition, Up-Lights illuminate vertical surfaces beautifully, enhancing architectural details or wall textures. For the Capital One event, we chose warm hues that complemented their theme perfectly. Imagine how these lights could enhance your wedding venue’s charm.
Moreover, String Lights add a whimsical touch to any setting. We hung them artistically against a wall, creating an enchanting backdrop at the party. This element added warmth and intimacy to the space without overwhelming it. For weddings, String Lights can beautify an entryway or dance floor elegantly. They make guests feel welcomed and cozy.
In addition to those elements, snowflake Gobos became a standout feature during the holiday event. Gobos are templates placed inside light sources; they project patterns on surfaces creatively. At Capital One‘s party, snowflakes danced across floors and ceilings delightfully. Such projections add a personal touch to events like weddings by displaying names or monograms uniquely.
Furthermore, we understand each client’s vision deeply before planning our designs meticulously. Our consultations help us align our creative ideas with your dreams seamlessly—whether it’s for corporate parties or weddings alike! During discussions with Capital One‘s team members initially—they emphasized wanting something festive yet sophisticated—and thus began crafting accordingly!
