Vaulted Canopy of Twinkle Lights w/ Vertical Sides
It is not every day I will sit back in total awe about how gorgeous our lighting setup turned out. In spite of that, our canopy of twinkle lights provided at Emily & Gavin’s Wedding was our most creative installation this year. At first, we were not sure how we could make the client’s vision for this event a reality. The client’s dream and the options for rigging our twinkle light made this installation a considerable challenge. Subsequently, after countless nights scrutinizing and revisioning our options for setup, inspiration struck, and everything came together.
The Client’s Dream
The client for this event wanted a canopy of twinkle lights hung in the main room at The Foundry in Long Island City (Queens, New York). She made it clear that our canopy of twinkle lights must arch upward at the center. Therefore, we could not easily suspend our twinkle lights parallel to the ground or with a natural downward dip.
The Installation
In the past, we have created an upward arch with a canopy of twinkle lights countless times under a tent. Nevertheless, this was our first request to have this done in the main room at The Foundry. As you can imagine, the client’s requirement created an unusual challenge for completing this installation. However, we examined our obvious installation options, As a result, we discovered an additional option that met the client’s needs.
Personal Satisfaction
All the thought and planning we put into this event made this event unforgettable. Additionally, this twinkle light installation influenced our popular cluster of mirror balls we provided numerous times this year. As a result, I have a special affinity for this event. Additionally, it holds a number one position as my most memorable and influential instillation for 2022.
