We had the most exhilarating experience at Kim and Mert’s wedding on June 1st. As Universal Light and Sound, we felt honored to enhance their special day with our lighting expertise. The Foundry in Long Island City was the perfect venue for this enchanting celebration. Without a doubt, we were happy to transform it into a dreamy, light-filled paradise. Kim and Mert’s love story unfolded like a musical love scene straight out of Broadway. As a talented Broadway actress, Kim graced the venue with her presence, exuding style and joy. Meanwhile, Mert matched her elegance effortlessly with his smooth confidence. Without a doubt,, they created an ambiance filled with warmth and happiness that spread throughout the venue. Certainly, it was our goal to reflect their love story through our lighting design.

Mirror Balls and Up-Lights at The Foundry

In the main reception room, we used a combination of Mirro r Balls and Up-lights. This choice brought an ethereal glow that captivated everyone present. Our team’s thoughtful arrangement ensured each light complemented the other perfectly. Nevertheless, it was the rotating Mirro r Ball that stole the show by transforming the space into a surreal setting.

Crystal Chandeliers under the Tent

Underneath a clear-top tent in The Courtyard stood our Crystal Chandeliers, casting their timeless charm over everyone gathered there. These chandeliers paired beautifully with The Foundry’s industrial allure while adding a touch of sophistication to match Kim’s gracefulness. Without a doubt, guests marveled at how effortlessly elegant everything looked under those shimmering crystals.
