When planning a wedding, every detail counts, especially when it comes to creating the perfect atmosphere. Lighting can transform any space, turning an ordinary venue into a magical setting that captures the essence of love. At Universal Light and Sound, we understand this better than anyone. Recently, we had the pleasure of illuminating Sua & Adam’s special day at Rule of Thirds. Using our String Lights and a Mirror Ball, we were able to create an elegant yet playful atmosphere.

A Mirror Ball for Sua & Adam’s Wedding Reception

Keeping in line with Sua & Adam’s vision for their wedding reception, we typically place our mirror ball strategically near the narrow strip of wall that separates The Atrium from The Corner Room. This location is near the edge of the dance floor. In addition, it is ideal because it provides the maximum coverage of shimmery light in The Atrium. Most importantly, when hanging in this location, our Mirror Ball typically won’t appear in key photos during the ceremony. As a result, our Mirror Ball remains a centerpiece that captivated guests as they danced during the wedding reception. Most importantly, without intruding on most photos taken during the ceremony.

A String Lights for Sua & Adam’s Wedding Reception

In addition to our Mirror Ball, our warm white String Lights played an integral role in setting the mood at their wedding reception. These String Lights create a cozy overhead glow that enhances the room’s ambiance while complementing its décor. Moreover, our String Lights offer a soft warmth that invites guests to relax and enjoy each moment of the celebration. By incorporating both elements—our Mirror Ball and String Lights—we are able to create distinct atmospheres within each room at Rule of Thirds.

The Atrium and The Corner Room at Rule of Thirds

Guests were treated to an unforgettable experience as they moved between spaces during Sua & Adam’s reception. In The Atrium, our Mirror Ball projected playful patterns across walls and floors while encouraging everyone onto the dance floor. Meanwhile, adjacent to The Corner Room, our String Lights provide intimate lighting over the dinner table. As a result, they create the perfect atmosphere for great conversations among friends and family seated around tables. Without a doubt, both lighting options are a testament to how lighting can enhance social interactions.
