Taylor and Troy hosted an unforgettable wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Alyssa Pettinato and Emma Trimmings from Alinato Events planned the occasion meticulously. As a result, every single detail was absolutely flawless. Our team at Universal Light and Sound proudly provided the lighting equipment for the event. Additionally, Magnolia by MR contributed elegant floral art to the stunning design. Next, let’s look closely at the specific lighting setup we created for this wedding.

The Lighting for Taylor and Troy’s Wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers

To get started, we hung a rectangular truss structure above Taylor and Troy’s dance floor. Consequently, this crucial step provided the rigging points we needed to hang our warm white Fairy Lights overhead. Without a doubt, these cascading lights were a highlight for the room’s decor. In fact, wedding guests felt like they were dancing under a blanket of stars at The Lighthouse. Furthermore, our truss structure enabled us to install our rotating Mirror Ball overhead. Also, this classic lighting effect appeals to every generation. Furthermore, it projects a shimmering pattern of rotating lights. In addition, these lights shine brightly above the dance floor. Certainly, our mirror ball helped create a festive atmosphere on the dance floor.

Dance Floor Lighting

In addition to our mirror ball, we set up moving, color-changing, intelligent lights on each corner of our truss. During speeches and the first dance, these lights focused the wedding guests’ attention on the dance floor at The Lighthouse. In addition, when it was time to dance, they provided vibrant, moving colors for dancing. Also, the Up-Lights we setup against the walls provided additional warmth to the room’s decor. In addition, these accent lights complemented Magnolia by MR’s floral arrangements on each table beautifully.
