The Brooklyn NAACP: The Centennial Freedom Gala

Tuesday, December 20, 2022 – The Brooklyn Branch of The NAACP began advocating for equality for people of color in 1922 when it was chartered. Therefore, this non-profit organization has been supporting the cause for racial equality for people of color for over a century in America. As a result, In honor of this great accomplishment, The NAACP’s Brooklyn Chapter hosted a celebration for its 100-year milestone. Understandably, our company was honored to provide the AV required for the Brooklyn NAACP centennial gala at 26 Bridge.

AV Equipment at The NAACP Centennial Gala at 26 Bridge:

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, The Centennial Freedom Gala was hosted at 26 Bridge in The Dumbo area of Brooklyn. Expectedly, this monumental event has a large attendance by many prominent figures that continue to champion the advocacy work started by their predecessors. Furthermore, this event represented the many accomplishments and tireless efforts made by the NAACP’s members and community. Clearly, any issue with the production of this event would reflect poorly on this unforgettable occasion. Understandably, our AV equipment provided for this event had to perform perfectly. Thus, guests could immerse themselves in this celebration without any distractions from technical issues.

Video:

The video component of the night was a major part of all presentations. Thus, our large projector screens are perfect for easy visibility by guests. Furthermore, our screens are on both sides of the presentation area. Therefore, this provides guests with maximum viewability.

Audio:

Similarly, we have speakers on both sides of the presentation area. Thus, the speakers are in appropriate proximity to the guests. As a result, the guests were able to hear this presentation easily. Furthermore, the sound level was not too loud for guests near our speaker. Also, it was acceptable for guests sitting further from our speaker.

Stage & Podium:

The Centennial Freedom Gala hosted by The NAACP’s Brooklyn Chapter was a sold-out event. Therefore, a few hundred guests attended this event. As a result, a stage is ideal for raising the presentation area above ground level. As a result, guests in the rear of the room can easily see the presentation on stage. Furthermore, Our executive podium is ideal for creating a location on stage for commanding the guest’s attention.

Lighting:

Proper lighting will allow guests to see the presentation on stage properly. Thus, the spotlights we setup on a stage are essential for illuminating the presentation area. As a result, the guests could easily see everything onsite without issue.
