The Hudson Valley has seen major growth in upstate weddings in the last 20 years. From elegant historic affairs in beautiful old houses to rustic barn parties lined with Mason Jars. Local wedding planners, venues, and vendors have all seen the increase. With hundreds (yes, really) more couples coming to the area to say “I do” since the 1990s.
So, after 10 years of throwing their celebrated wedding fair in Brooklyn, Wedding Crashers, produced by Brooklyn Based, is coming upstate to help! Throwing their first-ever Hudson Valley Wedding Crashers Fair at Basilica Hudson (a much-sought after wedding venue itself) on Sunday, September 8 from 1-6pm, they’ve created a “one-stop wedding planning festival” for couples looking to throw their dream Hudson Valley wedding.
Top Vendors
The event will give couples the chance to meet and connect with the region’s top wedding vendors. Including a dozen Hudson Valley wedding venues as well as photographers, event planners, bands, officiants, invitation designers, florists, and more.
They’ll also have drinks and samplings from Hudson Brewing Co., Fairview Wines & Spirits, Olde York Farm and mobile cocktail and espresso bar Citizen Caravan, plus tastings from half a dozen caterers, food trucks, and bakeries including Farm to Fire by Hudson Valley BBQ Co., Nine Cakes and more.
Other fun features include creative photobooths like Rose & Dale Photo Co.’s Airstream photobooth and Hudson Valley GIF Booth, a bonfire with s’mores from Hudson Valley Ceremonies, a glamping lounge from Glampstar, and a “fashion wing” including bridal attire from True North Bridal Studio and Anniel shoes.
Transportation
Are you coming in on Amtrak, Stagecoach Charters? We will be providing a free shuttle for guests to and from the Hudson, NY Amtrak Station to the venue.
Many Hudson Valley venues are already booking for 2021. This is an opportune event for couples considering an upstate wedding.
